General

  • Open VetScribe, navigate to Profile > Settings > Manage subscription > Upgrade now and follow the app store prompts.

    We also offer annual discounts (who doesn’t like saving extra money?), reach out to our team to learn more!

  • A recent Android OS update changed how they process images, causing issues with the VetScribe web app. Unfortunately, the fix requires an update from Google, which we have no control over.

    In the meantime, we’ve temporarily disabled patient photos in the web app so you can keep using VetScribe. But don’t worry! You can still view and edit patient photos on the mobile app.

  • Yes, but it’s important (for legal and ethical reasons) to get their consent first before recording.

  • Our website makes it super easy to copy + paste your records directly into your EHR of choice! We understand integrations are ideal, but the costs to build and maintain them would force us to significantly raise VetScribe's price.

    If you need any assistance with the transferring records, our support team is always happy to help.

  • Yes! VetScribe thrives in loud (and quiet) environments. As long as you’ve got a steady speaking cadence, VetScribe will filter out all the background noise for you.

  • We take data security and privacy VERY seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest and access is restricted using roles-based permission.

    Note: if you reach out for assistance, a member of the VetScribe team may ask for permission to view data to help fix any bug, but you are always empowered to say no.

  • VetScribe does not and will NEVER sell your data to 3rd party providers. There are no ads on our platform (we hate that as much as you do).

  • Absolutely! To save thousands of dollars per year, use this form to get in touch and a member of our team will connect with you.

Recordings

  • (Almost) instantly! Most recordings take <10 seconds to appear , but you may have to wait up to 30 seconds for some of your longer recordings.

  • You can make unlimited recordings on any paid plan or 10 recordings a month on the Free tier.

  • Yes, recordings are capped at 30 minutes long - we hope you don’t have any owner conversations longer than that!

  • Yes! To edit a transcription, simply copy and paste it into your EHR of choice and make any necessary changes. If you’d like to re-record your case, simply delete the transcription and hit record to start a new one.

  • We love this question because it gives us an opportunity to show off our state-of-the-art AI 😎VetScribe understands any medical terminology you throw at it (no matter how rare or obscure). If you run into any issues get in touch with our team and we’ll take care of it.

Setup

  • You don't need a connection to record your notes, but you’ll need internet for us to upload and process the recording.

  • Nope! VetScribe uses your phone’s microphone with high accuracy. For best results, hold the phone like you’re talking on speakerphone.

  • VetScribe is available for any Apple or Android devices with access to either the App Store or Google Play Store.

  • No worries! Here are a few steps to try:

    1. Quit and Reopen: Fully close your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Brave, etc.) and then reopen it. Try accessing VetScribe again. If that doesn’t work…

    2. Clear Cache and Cookies: Browsers store temporary data to speed things up, but this can sometimes conflict with websites.

    3. Restart Your Computer: If the first two steps don't work, a full restart can refresh your system and resolve browser problems.
